Picture of LIFE ALARM Life Alarm is an emergency alert system with monitoring service designed for use by seniors or individuals with severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. The system includes a base unit and a waterproof pendant with a help button. When the user needs help, pressing the button causes the base unit to dial an emergency monitoring center. The pendant communicates with the base from up to approximately 200 feet away. Pressing the button establishes two-way voice communication with a help center operator through the base unit only. Every signal is treated as an emergency unless the user tells the operator no emergency exists. POWER: Uses household current and rechargeable back-up battery.
