Picture of MERRY SEAT YOURSELF The Merry Seat Yourself is a wall mounted folding seat designed for individuals, especially seniors, with balance, mobility, or lower extremity disabilities. This unit is designed to be mounted on a wall of a long hallway in a nursing home so that residents are able to sit down and rest when they get tired during walks down the hall. The folding seat is made of high density polyethylene, and the frame is made of heavy duty tubular steel. The unit can be mounted in the hallway under a hand rail utilizing a self locking mechanism that folds the seat up and secures it against the wall when not in use. The seat frame’s U-shaped yoke is secured with brackets that guide the yoke freely up and down, resulting in a low pressure constant spring action that raises and lowers the seat. The seat has two side handles for the user to hold while sitting down and rising from the seat. The unit is fully washable. DIMENSIONS (WxD): The seat is 18 x 16 inches and is 0.5 inches thick. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. COLOR: White seat and black frame.

Notes: Shipping and handling charges are not included in the purchase price.
