Picture of SECURITY POLE & CURVE GRAB BAR The Security Pole and Curve Grab Bar is a vertical pole transfer aid designed for use by individuals with balance, mobility, or lower extremity disabilities. This pole can be installed in any room and placed beside a chair, bed, couch, toilet, shower, or tub to assist with standing and sitting and transfers. It can also be moved between rooms if needed. Made of rust-resistant, zinc-plated steel, this floor-to-ceiling pole is tension mounted and is packaged with its own wrench; no other tools are required. The Security Pole (sold separately; see separate entry) can be permanently installed with the wood screws that are included, if the user desires. The Curve Grab Bar (also sold separately; see entry) attaches to the pole and pivots 360 degrees. Eight locking positions enable the grab bar to be locked in position every 45 degrees for a multi-level hand hold. DIMENSIONS: The pole separates into two 53-inch sections for transport and storage. The unit fits ceilings 7 to 10 feet tall. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. WEIGHT: 20 pounds. COLOR: Iceberg white or metallic black. WARRANTY: Lifetime manufacturer's warranty.
