(Verified 06/2007) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Adult Modular Orthotic Seating System, MOSS II, is designed for use with manual and power wheelchairs, adult strollers and dependent mobility bases, stationary seats, and power scooters. Use with Otto Bock Adult wheelbases allows gas-spring assisted, 27-degree tilt-in-space adjustment. Components include a choice of seat and back modules, armrests, headrests, lateral trunk supports, chair mounting brackets, footrests, and laptray attachments. Interfaces are designed for simple installation and removal, with spring loaded lock to ensure rigidity and safety. Molded polyurethane foam cushions pop in and out of aluminum channel frames for easy cleaning or changing of configuration. DIMENSIONS: Available in widths of 16 and 18 inches. Back frames available in seven heights ranging from 9 to 30 inches; two smaller frames can be joined with hardware to create a back frame that adjusts to accommodate kyphosis, or to create a biangular back. The seat depth is adjustable from 11 to 20 inches. Seat to back angle is adjustable from 85 to 125 degrees.
