Publication Date: October 2003

Article focuses on MindGenius 2005 from Gael, which is a mind mapping software program for people with dyslexia that allows the user to compose a variety of concept maps, which can be exported to a variety of applications. MindGenius was originally developed for use in business settings, but can be very useful in education. The program can be used to plan essays, projects, presentations, and even web pages. What sets MindGenius apart from other concept mapping programs is the variety of concept map layouts available, which can include a variety of different files, maps, images, and icons. The application was designed to be easily integrated with other programs, as its import/export features allow concept maps to be sent to and from Microsoft Word or PowerPoint documents.
