What's In Your Home? and What's In Your Community? are language tutorial programs and communication books designed to supplement communication and independent living classes for students who need practice with such skills as symbol identification, association, matching, workbook skills (drawing, circling, cutting, and pasting), and working independently. Symbols are presented that students need to use in everyday living, such as "chair", "store", and "bedroom". Illustrations are also included to facilitate association between the symbol and real life. Each workbook includes 9 discussion sheets, 9 study sheets, 45 vocabulary and association worksheets, 3 unit reviews, and 6 multiple choice unit review worksheets. Each of the consumable workbooks is available individually ($8), or in sets of 5 workbooks ($35).
