The Life Skills Sampler is a personal skills and independent living skills tutorial program designed to teach and reinforce basic signs and words critical for independent living for people with cognitive disabilities. It provides simple information that allows the user to become more capable of functioning independently at work, at home, and in the community. The Life Skills Sampler includes training and basic literacy skills and other life skills such as shopping and understanding and reacting to warning signs. The application contains 80 videos and is narrated with human-quality audio. One instance of the Life Skills Sampler can be used on the same device by multiple people and administered by a therapist or care provider in a password-protected administration section. The administrator can make specific assignments for each user based on individual needs. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 4.2 or later.
