The Voice Activated Cordless Phone, model AP-100 VCS, is a voice activated cordless telephone with headset intended for use by people with mobility and upper extremity disabilities. No manipulation or operation of switches or other mechanical devices is required for complete control of this telephone. To activate the voice dialing mode, the user whistles a note into the headset. A state-of-the-art tone detector responds to a range of frequencies, eliminating the need to whistle a particular pitch or note in order to operate the phone. Once activated with the whistle, the functions of the phone are completely voice controlled. If whistling is impossible, an adaptive switch can be plugged into the phone. This model also uses the latest 900 Mega Hertz (MHz) technology to offer virtually noise-free operation and the greatest range possible. Up to twenty different voices can be added, or deleted from the telephone's memory to provide accurate voice recognition. When the telephone rings, the user says "hello" or make any sound after the second ring and the call is automatically answered. At the end of a conversation, the telephone automatically hangs up. A holster that can be hung on a wheelchair is included with every telphone to prevent damage by dropping. WARRANTY: This product has a limited one-year manufacturer's warranty.
