Picture of STELLAR The Stellar is a manual, adjustable-tilt wheelchair designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities. The chair offers a tilt of up to 45 degrees and hand or foot propulsion both in and out of tilt. The chair's low knee height can be maintained even when tilted. The chair is available with a standard or heavy-duty (HD) frame. FRAME (LxW): 30 to 37 without front rigging x 21.5, 25.5, 29, 30.5, 33, or 34.5 inches. Adjustable frame with dynamic tilt from zero to 45 degrees. Optional heavy duty frame has a double gas strut. Other options include tilt and recline; transit tie-down system; rear anti-tippers; heavy-duty rear stabilizers. Frame colors are metallic black, cosmic blue, or mars red; custom colors are available. SEAT: 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, or 22 inches wide standard; custom widths from 23 to 32 inches. Seat depths are 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, or 22 inches. Floor to seat heights are 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, or 20 inches. Available with no seat pan (standard) or with a solid seat pan. Backrest comes with a pushbar and is available with fold-down back or with seat to back angle set at 90, 98, 106, 114, 122 degrees. Backrest options include 10-inch height extension; MaTRx back; cane handles; adjustable height/angle push bar. CUSHION: MaTRx-V cushion optional. UPHOLSTERY: No back upholstery is standard. Upholstery options include standard or high-tension upholstery. ARMRESTS: Desk or full length. Options include adjustable height or flip-up armrests; front or rear extensions; armpads; arm troughs; flat hand pads; armrest wideners; and clothing guards. BRAKES: Push to lock or pull to lock wheel locks are standard; attendant locks and lock extensions are optional. CASTERS (DxW): 6 x 1.25 inches urethane casters are standard; 6 x 1.75, 8 x 1.25, and 8 x 2 inches casters and pneumatic casters are optional. WHEELS: 12, 16, 20, 22, or 24 inch diameter composite rear wheels with urethane tires and steel handrims are standard; options include 20, 22, or 24 inch spoke wheels; pneumatic tires with or without flat-free inserts; and plastic-coated handrims with or without projections. FOOTRESTS: Plug-in removable 70-degree front rigging is standards; options include swing-away rigging, adjustable knee angle rigging, and elevating legrest. CAPACITY: 250 pounds for standard frame; 450 pounds for custom frame. WARRANTY: The frame has a 5 year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. DELIVERY TIME: 14 days.
