Katherine Belknap, Project Director
Katherine is the project director for ABLEDATA. Her responsibilities include all maintenance and updating of the ABLEDATA database, project administration, and answering most of the questions received via e-mail from the website. Originally from Michigan, Katherine holds a B.A. in English and a M.A. in English Language and Composition from Eastern Michigan University, an educational background that serves her well in her database work. In her spare time, Katherine enjoys reading, writing poetry, music, movies, rubber stamp art, collecting teddy bears, and visiting the Washington D.C. area's many museums. Steve Lowe, Associate Project Manager and Webmaster
Steve maintains the ABLEDATA website and handles all of the desktop publishing duties. He is a graduate of Duke University and remains a HUGE Blue Devil basketball fan. He and his wife, Karin (also a Duke grad and fan), spend most of their time with their daughter, Samantha. At left is a picture of Steve and Karin during their honeymoon in Hawaii. David Johnson, Publications Director

Juanita Hardy, Information Specialist
Juanita is the Information Specialist for ABLEDATA. She responds to inquiries from people seeking information on assistive products or other disability-related issues, providing information and referrals from ABLEDATA's various information resources. She also writes new product abstracts and assists in maintaining information resources on the ABLEDATA Web site.Juanita holds an Associate degree in Business Administration and recently earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Strayer University, with a concentration in management and marketing.
