Why did you purchase the product?
My wife had polio as a child and has only limited use of one hand. The other hand is 100% disabled.

How well did the product meet your needs?
It worked very well from 1994 when it was installed until it failed in 2006. We did manage to find a mechanic who has kept it functional since then, but not as well as the original equipment.

Are there specific features of the product that you liked?
It worked easily and was very reliable for many years. Also, when it did fail, I could still drive the vehicle although my wife couldn't.

Any other comments about the product's performance?
I just wonder why it was discontinued as I was told back when it failed me last year. Also, is there any chance I could get a used one somewhere?
