1. ALERT LIGHT

   The Alert Light is a safety flag designed for use with manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs or scooters. It is intended to improve the visibility of the wheelchair or scooter during the day or night. The Alert Light consists of a pennant-shaped flag has a folding shaft that enables the flag to fold below the user's head when entering and exiting vehicles or when not in use. The upper portion of the shaft has a light emitting diode (LED) light that can be set as an orange glow or a flashing strobe for enhanced nighttime visibility. The Alert Light has a textured grip handle to facilitate folding. POWER: Requires two C batteries.

2. AMIGO CLASSIC FD

   The Amigo Classic FD (front drive) is a 3-wheeled scooter designed primarily for indoor surfaces and outdoor use on solid, flat surfaces by individuals with lower extremity and mobility disabilities. 6. AMIGO LIFT-IT

   The Amigo Lift-It is an electric, hitch-mounted wheelchair/scooter loader with a built-in control designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities. The lift is designed to be installed on cars, vans, or trucks with Class II or III receiver hitches and swing-away or hatch-type doors (fold-down tailgates not compatible). No permanent installation is required, and the lift is fully transferable between vehicles. The Lift-It disassembles into four lightweight components when not in use so that the vehicles full storage capacity is usable. The lift's boom swivels more than 90 degrees and the lift arm fits seat posts 1.5 to 2 inches in diameter. POWER: 12-volt motor is powered by a stand-alone direct current (DC) rechargable power source. Each full charge allows for an estimated 20-23 up-down cycles. FRAME (HxLxW): 37 (30.5 at top of basket) x 49 (53 for SmartMover XL) x 24 inches. The steel frame features a black platform and tiller. 13. LIFT-ALL

    The Lift-All is an electric, trunk-mounted wheelchair loader with a built-in control. The lift is designed to be permanently installed in one side of a car's trunk or in a van, RV or truck. The lift's arm folds flat in the trunk, unfolds and locks in the operating position. The lift's boom swivels more than 90 degrees. The unit lifts the base of an Amigo with the seat and T-handle removed, but must be manually positioned over the trunk before lowering the scooter into the car's trunk. The lift can be reinstalled into a new vehicle. POWER: 12-volt motor is powered by the car's electrical system. OPTIONS: Arm packages for lifting with and/or without the seat attached to the scooter; DIMENSIONS: Minimum space requirements are 36x30x19 inches (lxwxh) with trunk closed and 25 inches of vertical clearance necessary when trunk is open. 14. SHABBAT MODULE

    The Shabbat Module is a scooter controller that can be added to the Amigo RT Express, Amigo RD and Amigo HD scooters (see separate entries). It is designed for use by Orthodox Jews with mobility disabilities. The Shabbat Module is halachically-approved and certified by a representative of the Zomet Institute-Israel. It is designed to allow individual participation in full observance of the Sabbath. After the module is installed, the scooter user can activate the Shabbat mode using a toggle switch. In the Shabbat mode, the Shabbat Module initiates very slow movement of the Amigo scooter after 7-11 seconds using a timing circuit. There is no throttle lever activation required by the driver, so it is, therefore, considered an "indirect" action. When the scooter user is in Shabbat mode, the lever can be pulled to go faster because the module has already activated the motor relay circuit (another "indirect" action.) To go in reverse, a directional rocker switch is pushed causing the Shabbat Amigo to go through its timing cycle again before changing the motor relay. 15. SMARTSENSOR

    The SmartSensor is a collision prevention system for scooter designed for use by people with mobility disabilities. The SmartSensor can be added to the Amigo Classic FD, Amigo RT Express, Amigo RD and Amigo HD scooters (see separate entries). It can detect objects up to 30 inches ahead and when an object is detected, it gently slows the scooter’s forward speed, bringing it to a gradual stop. When the SmartSensor is activated, the scooter is limited to a top speed of 2.3 miles per hour so that the SmartSensor can stop the scooter safely when an object is detected. It is designed to avoid pedestrian impact so objects less than three inches wide or closer than eight inches to the floor will not be detected; however, the SmartSensor may prevent direct impact into a wall.
