The Chipmunk is a shoe insert designed for use to improve the foot alignment and gait of individuals with mild to moderate low tone pronation and fully correctable foot positions. This sub-malleolar pre-fabricated orthosis has a medial trimline that covers the navicular and protects it from rubbing; a flattened toe shelf to provide room for the toes within the shoe; a fabric liner ; a bottom plastic base with a diagonal forefoot trimline and full heel cup; and soft foam contours to supports the plantar surface. 2. JRA Picture of JRA

The JRA is a shoe insert designed for use by individuals with juvenile idiopathic (rheumatoid) arthritis. This shoe insert provides contoured plantar support with pressure relief along the metatarsal heads. It is constructed with three layers of foam (PORON foam, Plastazote, and dense EVA foam) that provide a sandwich of foams for the top surface and a substructure that gives support to the hindfoot and stops behind the metatarsal heads to provide a drop off for this area. Inserts are pre-fabricated in a range of sizes, and can be custom manufactured for a foot that is not on the chart, either in size or shape.

  3. JUMPSTART BUNNY BRACE Picture of JUMPSTART BUNNY BRACE

The JumpStart Bunny Brace is an ankle foot orthosis designed for use by children with balance, lower extremity, or walking disabilities. This brace helps young children with fully-correctable pronation or supination and swing phase inconsistency to realign their base of support for improved stability in standing and walking. Full wrap-around flexible support encompasses the foot and ankle for pronation and supination control with an elastic strap above the ankle and two straps across the top of the foot. A well-defined plantar surface and compression provide proprioceptive input. Proximal strap(s) aid frontal plane control and influence resistance to excess sagittal plane motion. A solid outer foundation adds arch support and heel stability. SIZES: Wide or narrow width. DIMENSIONS: Available in lengths of 4 to 9 inches in increments of 0.25 inches.

  4. JUMPSTART CRICKET Picture of JUMPSTART CRICKET

The JumpStart Cricket is a shoe insert designed for use by children with balance, lower extremity, or walking disabilities. To improve stability and alignment in young children with mild to moderate pronation and supination, this shoe insert has a deep heel cup, a well-defined plantar surface, and medial/lateral forefoot containment in combination with a stable outer foundation. A partial-wrap inner liner cups the heel, supports the arches, and contains the midfoot. The submalleolar, UCBL trimline is below the top edge of the shoe. The insert is prefabricated, and is available made of polyethylene for moderate flexibility or co-poly for firm support. SIZES: Wide or narrow width. DIMENSIONS: 4 to 9 inches in incremenets of 0.25 inches.

  5. JUMPSTART KANGAROO Picture of JUMPSTART KANGAROO

The JumpStart Kangaroo is an ankle foot orthosis designed for use by children with balance, lower extremity, or walking disabilities. This orthosis helps children with pronation or supination and excess plantarflexion to re-align their base of support to improve stability in standing and walking. It encourages more practice in dorsiflexed positions for children who present with excess toe walking or knee hyperextension. Its proximal posterior blocks plantarflexion and provides additional medial/lateral stability. A full-wrap inner liner allows full alignment control of the heel, midfoot, and forefoot, while a solid outer foundation provides additional support and heel stabilization. An optional Super Heel seating strap provides additional plantarflexion block and heel control. SIZES: Wide or narrow width. DIMENSIONS: 4 to 9 inches long in increments of 0.25 inches.

  6. JUMPSTART LEAP FROG BRACE Picture of JUMPSTART LEAP FROG BRACE

The JumpStart Leap Frog Brace is an ankle foot orthosis designed for use by children with balance, lower extremity, or walking disabilities. This brace helps young children with correctable moderate to strong pronation and supination to re-align their base of support for improved stability in standing and walking. The brace has a precision-molded double shell, one nested inside the other, providing full wrap-around flexible support that encompasses the foot and ankle for pronation and supination control. A well-defined plantar surface and compression provides proprioceptive input. A solid outer foundation adds extra arch support and heel stability. A supra-malleolar (SMO) trimline guides medial/lateral ankle alignment and fully encompasses the heel and forefoot for alignment control. The brace is slim enough to fit into most users' normal shoes. Straps are standard and attached; toe rise and instep pad are included on request. SIZES: Wide or narrow width. DIMENSIONS: Available in lengths of 4 to 9 inches in increments of 0.25 inches.
