--- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Lift for buses can be installed in either front or rear of vehicle. Bus must have door width of 36 inches. Platform of welded steel lift is 30 inches wide and 44 inches long. Operated by electric motor driven hydraulic pump. System utilizes gravity in down operation. Lift has maximum load capacity of 750 pounds. Installation requires no modification to body or frame of bus. Vertically stowed lift extends into bus about 12 inches. Easily maintained. Easy access for routine inspections. Safety stops on front and back of lift. Lift can be used in temperature extremes. Fully automatic. Electric actuator can be removed in event of power failure. Manual override system available as option. Controls may be mounted conveniently, hand held, or a combination of both. Roller chain and similar parts enclosed to protect passenger and clothing.
