Picture of TUFFY DELUXE STANDARD LIGHT 877 (MODELS 877, 877E, 877N, 877NE, 877W, & 877WE) The Tuffy Deluxe Standard Light 877 is a folding adult manual wheelchair designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility or neurological disabilities or spinal cord injury, as well as amputees. In addition to the standard 877 model, this wheelchair comes in narrow (models 877N and 877NE) and wide (models 877W and 877WE) versions. FRAME (HxLxW): 36 x 41 or 43 x 24, 26 or 28 inches. The folded dimensions (LxW) are 31 x 11.5 inches. The chrome-plated folding frame has composite side panels. Double cross bar construction and reinforcement welds that strengthen the chair are standard on models 877W and 877WE. Anti-tippers and an anti-folding device are optional. SEAT (LxWxH): 16 x 16, 18 or 20 x 20 inches. A non-removable 16.75-inch high back is standard. A seatbelt and headrest extension are optional. UPHOLSTERY: Black sling upholstery of padded breathable nylon. ARMRESTS: Removable desk-length padded armrests are standard. BRAKES: Adjustable toggle wheel locks are standard. Wheel lock extension tubes are optional. CASTERS: 8 x 1 inch casters with lightweight polyurethane tires. WHEELS: 24 x 1 inch rear molded wheels with lightweight polyurethane tires are standard. Pneumatic tires and pneumatic tires with airless inserts are optional. Handrims are standard; projection handrims and a one arm drive are optional. FOOTRESTS: Cam-action swing-away detachable footrests and padded legrests are standard. The front riggings extend from 16 to 21 inches. Elevating legrests (noted with an "E" in the model number) are available. Leg straps and an anti-theft lock for front riggings are optional. OPTIONS: Amputee adaptor; anti-theft bar; wheelchair tray; IV rod attachment; and oxygen tank holder. CAPACITY: 220 pounds for models 877, 877E, 877N and 877NE or 280 pounds for models 877W and 877WE. WEIGHT: 40 pounds for models 877N and 877NE, 41 pounds fo models 877 and 877E, or 45 pounds for models 877W and 877WE.
