ACHIEVEMENT WEIGHTED POCKET PAD
The Achievement Weighted Pocket Pad is a weighted pad designed for use by children with sensory integration or processing disabilities or neurological or emotional disabilities. This pad provides proprioceptive feedback and postural stability during sitting activities and serves as a self-regulation tool in the classroom. This pad rests on a child's lap, so it is less noticeable to others in the classroom. The weight in the pad can be varied as needed using the included quarter-pound weight packets (12, 16, or 20 weights are included, depending on the pad size selected). Weight packets slide into the hidden pockets in the pad and the pockets close with hook-and-loop closures. The pad is machine washable after the weight packets are removed. SIZES: Small, medium, or large. DIMENSIONS: The small pad is 14 x 9 inches, the medium pad is 18 x 10 inches, and the large pad is 24 x 12 inches.
