Operation Neptune is a math tutorial prgram designed to build confidence in math and problem solving skills for children who are mentally challenged. It strengthens problem solving and thinking skills necessary for pre-alegebra foundation by introducing algebraic equations and challenging players to read and interpret data from charts, graphs, maps and tables and perform calculations involving measurement concepts such as area, distance and volume. Features include Math Practice allowing players to work on specific math problems of their choice; dynamic graphics to create a colorful and realistic deep sea environment; and digitized music and special sound effects. Players can customize the math problems to meet their needs for whole numbers, decimals, fractions, ratios and percentages. Strategy hints are provided and reinforced with step-by-step solutions if needed. COMPATIBILITY: IBM and compatibles or Macintosh. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: IBM: 386 DX/33 MHz or better; hard disk; double speed CD-ROM drive; 256 color VGA; DOS 5.0 or Windows 3.1. Macintosh: 68030 or better; hard disk; double-speed CD-ROM drive; 256 color monitor; System 7.0.1.
