Picture of EXCEL SHUTTLE (MODELS MDS809650, MDS809750, MDS809850 & MDS809585) The Excel Shuttle, models MDS809650, MDS809750, MDS809850 and MDS809585, is a heavy-duty wheelchair designed for use by heavy or obese adults with mobility or lower extremity disabilities or spinal cord injury. The chair is latex-free. FRAME: Stainless steel frame with double cross brace. The wheels have a triple axel to adjust the hemi height of the seat. SEAT (WxD): 24 x 20 inches (MDS809650); 26 x 20 inches (MDS809750); 28 x 20 inches (MDS809850); and 30 x 20 (MDS809585). The seat has polypropylene mesh liners for extra support. UPHOLSTERY: Black nylon upholstery is rated at 300 pounds per square inch and is color-fast and stain-resistant. ARMRESTS: Removable desk-length arms (models MDS809650, MDS809750 or MDS809850) or removable full-length arms (model MDS809585). The armrests are padded. LEGRESTS: Detachable elevating legrests with padded calf rests and foot plates. The legrests feature a notched, stainless steel ratchet bar to lock legrests in place. Swing-away detachable footrests are optional. CAPACITY: 700 pounds. WARRANTY: Lifetime guarantee on frame and crossbar and one-year warranty on other parts.
