Picture of 2-PERSON COMPANION CAR The 2-Person Companion Car is an adapted golf cart or personal electric vehicle designed for use by individuals with walking, circulatory, or balance disabilities, arthritis or limited stamina. This golf cart enables a person seated in the rear seat to play golf without getting out of the car and without having to operate or steer the cart. A companion in the front seat operates the vehicle. When the cart approaches a golf ball, the passenger in the back seat can rotate the seat and hit the ball while seated. The car has two seats arranged in tandem, a fixed front seat with positioning adjustment capability, and a rear 360-degree swivel seat with adjustable height, adjustable restraint system, and forward positioning capability. It has regenerative brakes with automatic parking. It has a single right- or left-hand control, wrap-around bar, front and rear suspension, and front and rear attachment points. The frame/chassis is made of welded, epoxy painted steel, and the body is made of ultra violet (UV) protected ABS plastic. OPTIONS: Flatbed (instead of rear seat). POWER: Uses 3 AGM or lead acid deep-cycle 12-volt rechargeable batteries. An off-board charger is included. The vehicle features a 36-Volt, 1.5 horsepower (Hp) permanent magnet motor. DIMENSIONS (LxWxH): 76 x 34.5 x 45 inches. The ground clearance is 5 inches, SPEED: Maximum forward speed is 9 miles per hour (mph). CAPACITY: 600 pounds. WEIGHT: 475 pounds. COLOR: Assorted body and seat colors are available. WARRANTY: 5-year limited warranty.
