By Salmon, Amy R.; Access World, Vol. 6, No. 3
Publication Date: May 2005

Article discusses solutions for customizing the Microsoft Windows Operating System for people with low vision. The author provides systematic instructions on how to change all aspects of the screen, including desktop structure and the size and font of menu items. The instructions are based on the Windows XP Operating System, yet most of the same modifications can be performed on the Windows 2000, Windows Millennium Edition, and Windows 98 Operating Systems.
