A Survey of Marginal Wheelchair Users

This paper describes a survey conducted in Tayside, Scotland, to identify and describe wheelchair users in that area who have limited self-propulsion, marginal users. The survey found that of the marginal users surveyed in Tayside, 59% stated that their wheelchairs did not adequately meet their needs. Photographs, tables and graphs illustrate the paper.
