Picture of APOLLO 2 DESKTOP SPEECH SYNTHESIZER The Apollo 2 Desktop Speech Synthesizer is a multi-lingual speech synthesizer designed to be used in conjunction with screen reader and text reading software by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This synthesizer provides high-quality speech output through its own built-in loudspeaker. Designed for rapid response, speech output can be stopped with a single keystroke. The unit plugs into the serial port of any desktop, laptop, or notebook computer and includes a choice of four languages from 30 available, a power supply, and a connector cord.
