(Verified 06/2010) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Maddapult Assisto-Seat is a seat transfer lift designed to assist individuals with arthritis or other standing disabilities to sit and get up out of a chair. This portable seat lift features a pull lever spring-action opening system that expands the cushion about 45 degrees to push up the individual from a seated position. When sitting on an opened seat lift, the device slowly lowers the user and locks into the closed position. A safety lock prevents accidental openings. The cushion is padded with foam cushioning. CAPACITY: There are two models available, depending on the user's weight. Model H72155, with 2 springs, is designed for persons weighing up to 150 pounds; model H72156, with 3 springs, is designed for persons weighing between 150 and 220 pounds. DIMENSIONS: 14 x 16 x 4 inches. WEIGHT: 7 pounds.
