FRAME: The ultralight graphite composite rigid frame weighs only 2.3 pounds. The composite material has special shock absorption qualities. It has a molded one-piece side frame with elliptical, not round, tubing that is designed to be 29 percent stronger than round tubing. The frame is powder coated in Stealth Black (standard). Red, white, blue, green, and deep purple are optional colors. SEAT DIMENSIONS (WxDxH): 16 x 16 x 19.75 inches standard. Optional widths are 14, 15, 17 or 18 inches. Seat depth is adjustable to 17 inches. Standard height of fold-down, angle adjustable back is 10 to 14 inches; 14 to 18 inches is optional. Seat bucket is adjustable to 4, 10, or 15 degrees. UPHOLSTERY: Black, nylon parapak back upholstery with sailcloth seat. ARMRESTS: No arm is standard. Swing-away sport is optional. CASTERS: 5-inch molded with solid tire. Options include 2.75-inch roller blade wheels (standard on Ellipse 2.3 SP) or 6-inch molded wheels with foamed urethane tires. WHEELS: Standard model has 24 x 1 1/8 inches spoked with sew-up tires. Quick release axles with soft touch seals. Axle adjustability is 2.75 inches forward and aft. High performance recessed hubs with precision sealed bearings. Ellipse 2.3 SP has 24-inch 32 spoke, triple cross-laced 15/17 gauge, double-butted stainless steel spoke wheels with gray high pressure Turbo tires (115 psi). CAMBER: Adjustable axle plate with built-in precision camber rings. 6-degree camber ring standard; 0, 4, or 8 degree camber rings available as accessories. HNADRIMS: Hard anodized are standard; black powder coated optional. FOOTRESTS: Fixed front rigging, 17 to 21 inches. WEIGHT: 20.8 pounds standard model; Ellipse 2.3 SP is 18.9 pounds.
