--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 08/96) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Beach Access is a lightweight, portable walkway designed to provide access to the beach for individuals who are in a wheelchair. This is provided as an alternative to expensive specialty beach wheelchairs and allows those in a wheelchair to go further than public ramps and actually sit at the water's edge. One unit contains two mats, canvas beach bag for storage and four sand pins for securing when in use. Beach Access is extremely portable becase it rolls up and fits in a carry bag. To use it simply connect the two sections together using specially designed sand pins. When you reach the end of the second section, you will need to have someone bring the first section forward and attach it in front. Continue this process until you reach the destination. DIMENSIONS: Each mat measures 3 x 10 feet and rolls into 36 x 10 inches. WEIGHT: Each section is 36 pounds.
