The Courtroom Rostrum Wheelchair Lift is an interior wheelchair lift designed for use by individuals with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. It is intended to provide discrete access to an auditorium or courtroom. The lift has momentary (constant pressure) control switches on the platform, at the upper landing, and at the bottom landing. It features a twin-rail, chain and sprocket design. The quiet electric motor unit includes a standard battery backup. In the event of a power failure, the standard battery backup will bring the platform up and down up to 15 times. This lift has electrical components listed by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), and it has all required safety devices, including emergency stops, upper limits, lower limits, pan safety, ratchet clutch, over speed governor and door interlocks. OPTIONS: Key-operated controls. POWER: Uses standard residential or commercial 110-volt power with battery backup. CAPACITY: 750 pounds. WARRANTY: 5-year limited warranty.
