(Verified 1/94) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Microprocessor-based, communication aid; portable, battery powered, variable operating techniques: direct selection, row column scanning, directed scanning. Eight memories can store up to 32 locations for recall. No printer or display. One hundred and twelve locations for symbols, letters, etc. Edit capability, output connector for external interface. Option available for larger vocabulary. Rechargeable Nicad batteries. Eighteen and one half by 14 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches, carrying handle at top. Weight, 8 1/2 pounds.

Notes: Six of 8 memories can be recalled by activating external switch, 2 memories can only be recalled through normal operation of aid to provide user with some privacy. Playback speed, externally controlled.
