This is the Way We Wash Our Face is a pre-reading tutorial program and personal skills tutorial program using this familiar song to promote personal care skills for children ages 18 months to 5 years. The program uses the PowerPad expanded keyboard (see entry) or IntelliKeys and an overlay that presents pictures for each verse. By pressing on a picture, the child can hear the verse of "This is the Way. . ." that pertains to that picture; an animated graphic for the verse is also presented. Verses include washing your face, brushing your teeth, combing your hair, getting dressed, and eating. The complete set includes the program disk and the overlay. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple and Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple computers require a color monitor, Echo speech synthesizer, and PowerPad or IntelliKeys; Macintosh requires a color monitor, Echo LC, 2E Emulator card, LC softcard, and IntelliKeys. WARRANTY: Faulty disks will be replaced within 6 months of the purchase date.

Notes: The manufacturer offers a back-up disk, available at the time of purchase ($6), and additional overlays ($5 each). ** Technical support is available from the manufacturer.
