Picture of IDRESS FOR WEATHER iDress for Weather is a personal and independent living skills tutorial program for people with cognitive disabilities or autism. This application (or app) allows a person to use their Apple iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch to provide images and weather conditions that are essential for daily use. The user launches the app, views the weather page. The app features a customizable closet containing clothes that match the weather conditions for that day through built-in or personalized images. The user can also personalize the individual settings of temperature ranges that define hot, warm, cool, cold, and really cold with current weather conditions provided by WeatherBug. Extended information such as humidity, wind speed and wind direction can also be displayed on the screen. Other features include the ability to save 10 most recent locations; to select either Fahrenheit or Celsius as temperature unit; to use GPS or enter city/zip code to determine location; bold display of the current temperature; and daily high/low temperatures. The app can be used by individuals, parents, teachers or care providers in classroom, community and home settings. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.
