Leaps and Bounds 2 is a pre-reading tutorial program designed for use by pre-school children with learning disabilities. Colorful characters use dancing, buble-blowing, and other antics in six text-free activities to help develop pre-reading skills. Children improve hand-eye coordination as they manipulate the mouse and target items as they pop up in surprising places. Left-to-right tracking prepares children for beginning reading. Stimulating movements and sounds aid in improving auditory and visual discrimination. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible or Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: The IBM and compatible version requires a P-133 processor, 32 megabytes (MB) RAM, Windows 95 or higher, CD-ROM drive, and a 800 x 600 256-color monitor. The Macintosh version requires a 68040 or better processor, Operating System 7.1 or higher, 8 MB RAM, a CD-ROM drive, a 800 x 600 256-color monitor.
