--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 08/2007) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Electric Can Opener is designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities or use of only one hand. This can opener uncrimps the can lid, reversing the sealing process without cutting into the can, eliminating sharp edges. To open any size can, the user places the can on the counter, sets the opener on top, and then presses the thumb switch. The metal "nose" grips the can edge, spins the can around, and unseals the lid. WEIGHT: 20 ounces.
