(Verified 6/2005) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The TeleStik model 2700 is a reacher, telescoping magnet, long-handled hook, and dressing aid all in one, portable unit. This retrieval aid is recommended for persons with lower back problems, arthritis, or severe hypertension; persons confined to bedrest; and wheelchair users. The unit has two stainless steel telescoping arms that extend to 34 inches. At the end of one arm is a small yet powerful magnet that can be used with most metallic objects, and a unique hook that can be used for picking up objects, opening drawers and cupboards, pushing buttons, or dressing. On the second arm, the UltraStik adhesive roll system is mounted. The adhesive roll can be used for over 2000 pick-ups before needing replacement. It is powerful enough to pick up heavy objects, but will not tear paper products. SIZE: Collapses to less than 8 inches. WEIGHT: 7 ounces. COLORS: Black handle, black roll system.

Price will be added at that time. ** The TeleStrap accessory (see separate entry) can be used with the TeleStik models 2100 and 2700 reachers as a grasping aid to improve one's grip on the handles, or as a way to attach the reachers to wheelchair arms.
