The Blue Wave Toileting System, models E806 and E808, is a height adjustable commode system designed for use by children and small adults with mobility disabilities. The system is available in small basic and complete models and large basic and complete systems. The basic systems include the seat, a deflector, armrests, a hip strap, and a mounting bar. The complete systems include the same items as the basic system, plus and a back rest with chest strap and head blocks, anterior support (tray), frame with casters and commode pan, footboard with foot straps, and an abductor. The large model is available with a choice of a high or a low back. A quick trigger release allows removal and replacement of the interchangeable high and low backs. Each of the additional components of the complete system is also sold separately to enable customization of a system for the user. The seats fit standard toilets and with additional components the systems can be used as self-contained commodes. OPTIONS: Additional mounting bars are available. SIZES: Small for individuals 30 to 50 inches tall (model E806) and large for users 48-72 inches tall (E808). DIMENSIONS: The frame width for both models is 20.5 inches, the clearance to the floor is 19 inches. The seat (DxWxH) is (9 or 11) x 12 x (10-20) inches (E806) or (11.5 or 13.75) x 16 x (15.5-20) inches (E808). The back height is 24 inches and the armrest height above the seat is 5.5 inches for model E806; the low back height is 18 inches, the high back height is 34 inches, and the armrest height above the seat is 7 inches for E808. The back angle adjusts to 5 degrees forward from vertical and 5 or 15 degrees back from vertical. The back to seat angles are 80, 90, or 110 degrees. CAPACITY: All models have a capacity of 180 pounds. COLOR: White with blue back upholstery and straps.
