The Top Cat is an electric car top wheelchair loader lifts wheelchair from ground level to storage position on car top rack. Width of unit adjusts from 43 to 57 inches and fits most cars. Requires no modifications to car with rain gutters, easy to install. Motor for hoist is sealed and self lubricating. Operates through cigarette lighter on car or can be wired permanently to 12 volt vehicle batter. Operating cycle about one minute. Button switch lowers cable and folder wheelchair attaches to hook on cable. Chair is raised to car top level and bungee cord is attached from outside wheelchair wheel to support arm of rack. Electric motor stops automatically when chair is maneuvered into stowed position. Top storage of chair frees trunk or back seat of car for other purposes. Steel tubing and sheet metal construction. Lift is 13 7/8 inches high and 29 1/4 inches long. Soft nylon rain cover can be positioned over folded wheelchair before lifting to stow. User must be able to reach to top of door of car to attach bungee cord. Wheelchair must be hand guided during lifting process. Nylon cover available. WEIGHT: 81 pounds.
