The Car-Go-Mate Wheelchair Lift is a hitch-mounted wheelchair carrier designed for use by individuals with lower extremity or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. This exterior wheelchair lift installs on vehicles with a Class I or Class II 1.25-inch hitch receiver to hold manual wheelchairs. The wheelchair is automatically clamped to the lift platform, which folds and unfolds with the assistance of a gas-spring counterbalance. The lift is set low to reduce rear vision obstruction. The lifting range is 28 inches, and the lift can carry wheelchairs with a maximum 30 inch arm height and maximum 14.5 inch folded wheelchair width. DIMENSIONS (LxW): Platform is 17 x 31.75 inches. Maximum overall lift depth is 30 inches. Clearance from hitch to column is 9.5 inches. Overall height from hitch is 42.5 inches. WEIGHT: The lift weighs 50 pounds; the mobile power pack weighs 8 pounds; the swing-away weighs 35 pounds. CAPACITY: 100 pounds. WARRANTY: Limited, non-prorated, non-transferable lifetime warranty.
