(Verified 3/2004) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Vortex Powered Recliner is a powered tilt-in-space reclining wheelchair designed for use by adults with mobility disabilities. FRAME: Non-folding tilt-in-space and/or reclining frame. CONTROLS: Dual-function hand-controlled joystick-controlled Z-61 Servo-Drive Electronics. Specialty controls are optional. RWD: Rear-wheel drive. SEAT: An adjustable-depth solid seat pan and a solid contour back with an attachment strip for additional pads or hardware are standard. A sliding-back recline feature is available. The seat is 19.5 inches high and is available in a chioce of 16-, 18-, or 20-inch widths. ARMRESTS: Reclining armrests. BRAKES: Electronic brakes. CASTERS: Included. WHEELS: 24-inch wheels. FOOTRSETS: Center-mounted front rigging. Self-extending footrests are included on recliners. POWER: Battery (not included).
