Picture of SCRIBOLUX (MODEL 1565-1) Scribolux, model 1565-1, is an illuminated stand magnifier designed for use by individuals with low vision. This magnifier can be used for tasks such as writing checks or letters, doing crossword puzzles, or reading. It features a large open viewing area for reading and writing. The aspheric-type lens provides 2.8x (7 diopter) magnification. The lens has a scratch-resistant ceratec coating and comes with a protective cover. The magnifier operates with SMD-LED illumination. POWER: Uses four double-A batteries (included). DIMENSIONS (LxW): The lens is 100 x 75 millimeters. WEIGHT: 8 ounces.
