This tip-resistant, wheelchair-accessible learning station is equipped with a SMART BOARD interactive whiteboard, four locking wheels, an overhead projector mounted on an arm. The SMART BOARD can be moved up or down and tilted at multiple angles from any vertical or horizontal position, conforming to a student’s reach and accommodating students who use wheelchairs, standers, or wedges. tilt and height adjustments can be made in less than 30 seconds with a push of a button. It also has a cable management system, speaker adjustability, a flexible laptop arm mountable on either side of the unit, and a handle and cord wrap. The projector can be positioned to avoid casting shadows on the surface of the whiteboard. The Unit offers multi-sensory stimulation, allows for annotation and touch on an interactive whiteboard with the high output projector, and has the capability to incorporate additional components. If brightness, contrast, or colors are a problem, third-party software may be used with the unit to adjust display characteristics. The SMARTBOARD can also be used to control a computer.
