AmTryke Therapeutic Tricycle, models AM-9S and AM-9XS, is a child's hand- and leg-propelled tricycle designed for use by children with a wide range of disabilities to build strength and coordination. This tricycle has a steel step-through frame with a continuous chain mechanism for hand/foot movement. The adjustable-length frame has two sections that lock in place with a quick-turn knob. Other standard features include steering control on front of the steering column; foot plates with hook-and-loop heel, instep, and toe straps attached to the pedals; an adjustable bucket seat with safety lap T-strap; and a two-section push bar with a round plastic handle. A safety helmet is included. Model AM-9XS is for children 24 to 36 inches tall with arms 9 to 20 inches long and legs 12 to 20 inches long. Model AM-9S is for children 28 to 36 inches tall with an arm length and leg length of 14 to 20 inches (model AM-9S). OPTIONS: Pedal blocks; footplate for pedal blocks; vertical hand grips; foot cups with straps and hardware; wrist wraps (in sizes from extra small to extra large). DIMENSIONS: 9-inch front wheel and 6.5-inch rear wheels.
