Picture of PULMONARY REHABILITATION EXERCISE KIT The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Exercise Kit is an exercise planning program designed for use by physical therapists. The therapist can use this database with PC-Kits software (not included; see entry) to design individualized exercise programs for individuals with respiratory conditions, including emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic bronchitis, asthma, restrictive lung disorders, bronchietasis, and cystic fibrosis. The collection includes 107 professionally- illustrated exercises for airway clearance, energy conservation, breathing, and intimacy. Also included are 92 full-page instructional handouts on lung anatomy, lung problems, the sinuses, inhaled medications, energy conservation, intimacy, controlling shortness of breath, avoiding irritants and allergens, exercise, airway clearance, home oxygen, noninvasive ventilation, peak flow meter, respiratory self-assessment, sinus flush, and common problems associated with respiratory conditions.
