Team Up with Timo: Lesson Creator is a lesson authoring program designed for use by teachers, therapists, or parents of children with autism or communication or language disabilities. The program enables users to create customized multimedia vocabulary and language lessons featuring an animated onscreen tutor called Timo, who coaches students through each new lesson, offering encouragement and direction as needed. To create lessons, users import pictures such as photographs, clip art, or Mayer-Johnson symbols, and customize what Timo says. Lessons can be shared through e-mail, uploaded, and modified. The program comes with a set of 3,500 Picture Communication Symbols from Mayer-Johnson. COMPATIBILITY: For use with IBM or compatible computers or Apple Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows 98 SE or Macintosh OS X or higher operating system; Internet connection (broadband recommended).
