Picture of SCHEDULE IMPACT --- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 9/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Schedule Impact is a cognitive aid and prompter designed for use by individuals with cognitive disabilities, learning disbilities, or brain injury. The program assists users with limited literacy or time comprehension skills in independently maintaining daily schedules and routines. Schedule Impact works in conjunction with AbleLink's Discovery Desktop (see separate entry) to allow the creation of audio and image-based appointments, deadlines and other time-based reminders on a desktop computer. A customizable alarm automatically plays at the designated time and day while displaying a picture of the appointment or event. When this picture is clicked, the audio reminder plays. Schedule Impact can also automatically launch other programs, such as our AbleLink's Visual Impact (see separate entry), that provide instruction on how to perform a selected task.
