Picture of OTICON SYNCRO Oticon Syncro is a programmable behind the ear or in the ear hearing aid designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. Its Voice Priority Processing system uses artificial intelligence to focus on speech and filter out noise. Three systems work in parallel to monitor and analyze all critical acoustic parameters and determine which combination of settings will provide the optimum Voice-over-Noise ratio: Multi-band Directionality, TriState Noise Management, and Voice Aligned Compression. Five pre-programmed Identities enable hearing care professionals to customize the key elements of the Voice Priority Processing system to match the user’s needs, without having to individually configure each feature. An identity is automatically prescribed, based on factors such as hearing loss, age, auditory lifestyle, amplification experience and listening preferences.
