It is compact, lightweight and clearly announces the temperature in either Fahrenheit (F) or Celsius (C). The electronic thermometer includes a clinical probe that is designed for taking body tempature but can be used to take other temperatures as well (eg. water, air or suface temperatures in the range of 6 degrees F to 280 degrees F). In addition the thermometer has a +/- 0.4 degrees F accuracy in the medical range (94 degress F to 108 degrees F). All the controls and jacks are labeled in braille. 50 disposable probe sleeves, nylon carrying case, earphone, and large print and cassette instruction are also included. OPTIONS: Also available are an AC adapter, meat probe, clinical probe and disposable probe sleeves. POWER: Operates on one nine volt battery (not included). DIMENSIONS: 7.5 x 4 x 1.5 inches. WEIGHT: 10 ounces. WARRANTY: One-year AFB limited.
