Picture of AQUATIC EXERCISES KIT The Aquatic Exercises Kit is an exercise planning program designed for use by physical therapists to create exercise plans for individuals with pain, decreased activities of daily living, movement and mobility dysfunction, deconditioning, or repetitive stress disorders. The program includes 138 professionally illustrated exercises for use in rehabilitation and fitness routines, and is available either as a set of reproducible cards or as a computer exercise database for use with PC-Kits software (not included; see entry), which enables the therapist to create exercise programs for individual patients. Exercise categories include upper body, lower body, trunk, diagonal patterns, gait, upper extremity patterns, total body, and deep water. The kit also includes a Visual Index and six full-page tip sheets on hydrostatic pressure, buoyancy, upper and lower body stretch sequence, proper posture in water, and pathways. The computer version has captions in English or Spanish.
