  1. QUIET QUILT Picture of QUIET QUILT

    The Quiet Quilt is a weighted blanket designed for use with individuals with cognitive or emotional disabilities. Available as a full-sized quilt, a lap quilt, or a mini-quilt, these quilts feature self-contained weight to provide full body proprioceptive input to help calm the nervous system. The Quiet Quilt and the Mini-Quilt are available in 100 per cent cotton, cotton/polyester, or cotton flannel, and the Lap Quilt is available in cotton/polyester. All models utilize tubular channels and pockets to hold varying amounts of hypoallergenic plastic granule packets for weight. The packets are encased in an envelope construction for safety. These quilts and the packets are machine washable. OPTIONS: Additional weight packets are available. DIMENSIONS: The Quiet Quilt is 47 x 66 inches, the Quiet Quilt Lap Quilt is 10 x 15 inches, and the Quiet Quilt Mini-Quilt is 24 x 34 inches. WEIGHT: The weight of the Quiet Quilt is customized for the user, usually 10 per cent of the body weight, and should be determined in consultation with an occupational therapist. The Lap Quilt includes four pounds of weights and the Mini-Quilt includes seven pounds. COLOR: Varies. DELIVERY TIME: Two to three weeks.
