Picture of READ AND TELL TEEN COLLECTION The Read and Tell Teen Collection is an academic, reading, language and vocabulary tutorial program designed for children from sixth grade through eighth grade who have cognitive or learning disabilities. This program enables students who are reading below grade level to enjoy age-appropriate literature, understand the story, learn higher-level vocabulary, complete written language activities and demonstrate comprehension. The program comes with 25 chapter books, and Literacy Support Pictures are added to chapter summaries, comprehension questions and vocabulary materials and are ready-to-print. The program requires PixWriter (see separate entry) and students use the included PixWriter word banks to write about these books. The book list includes: "A Christmas Carol," "Bridge to Terabithia," "Dicey’s Song," "Flowers for Algernon," "Hatcher," "Island of the Blue Dolphins," "Number the Stars" and "Out of the Dust." SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: PixWriter version 2.0 or higher (see separate entry) and Adobe Reader.
