Picture of MOTIVA PERSONAL FM SYSTEM (MODEL PFM 360) The Motiva Personal FM System, model PFM 360, is a FM personal amplification system designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. The system can be used for TV or audio listening, conversing in a car or at a restaurant, or in group settings such as a classroom, where it maximizes a student's ability to hear and ensures that the speaker's message is heard clearly. The transmitter can be used to mix and broadcast a speaker“s voice plus an audio program simultaneously in one room. The system can be customized with selectable compression and adjustable frequency response. It has 16 selectable channels on the 72 to 76 megaHertz (MHz) frequency with an operating range of up to 150 feet. A 3.5-millimeter jack allows for a variety of earphone and headphone options, and the system is compatible with a neckloop or hearing aid (not included). The system includes one R36 receiver with a sensitive environmental microphone. POWER: Uses battery; battery options include 1.5-volt double-A disposable, alkaline battery; 1.2-volt double-A rechargeable NiMH battery. OPTIONS: Black cordura carry case; wide range earphone; single mini earbud earphone; dual mini earbud earphone; surround earphone; hearing protector headphone; deluxe folding headphone; plug Mount omnidirectional microphone; directional mini lapel clip mic; neckloop; rear-wear headphone; directional headband microphone; dual drop-in charger; drop-in charger kit with batteries; ultimate heavy duty folding headphone.
