The Access Dinghy 303 Wide Seater is an accessible sailboat designed for use by individuals with spinal cord injury. This boat can be sailed single-handedly or by two full- sized adults. It has a wide hammock seat and manual joystick steering. Sails include a mainsail and a free standing, self-tacking Jib, with three control lines. To prevent capsizing and promote stability, the boat has a ballasted centerboard and a concave hull shape. A roller reefing system enables the sailor to adjust the size of the sail to suit various sailing conditions while the boat is under way.
