DISCONTINUED. (Verified 11/2006) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. The ADA 120 Audio Visual Alert System is a flashing light and enhanced audible doorbell signal. This unit was developed to convert any existing apartment house intercom system into one which will assist people with hearing disabilities. The unit is activated when a person pushes an apartment button on the entrance panel. Inside the apartment, the system's strobe light will flash for up to three minutes, and a buzzer (up to 90 dbA) will sound. The person in the apartment can reset the system to silence after noticing the signal.
